Objective
Kings & Chameleon was a creative collective founded in 2013 by three friends with a passion for motion design: Frank Winter, Sebastian Bunzel, and myself, Burkhard Kalytta. To kick-start our business, we aimed to define and design our brand from the ground up—including our mission, color palette, typography, and most importantly, our logo. We needed to bring our brand identity to life through motion to attract potential clients.
Challenge
Starting a new business comes with a multitude of tasks and responsibilities, often with limited time and manpower. We constrained ourselves to commit only three days for the creation of our logo bumper. Our goal was to swiftly launch our new studio and begin acquiring clients, which meant this brand element needed to be compelling, cohesive, and completed within this tight timeframe.
Solution
With three friends, three creative minds, and three days dedicated to one mission, we embarked on creating our logo bumper. The process was a collaborative breeze. From the initial brainstorming session to developing styleframes and an animatic, we completed these steps in just one early morning. Two and a half days later, the animation was finished—a whirlwind experience that strengthened our bond and collaborative workflow. This intense effort not only resulted in a strong brand identity but also further shaped Kings & Chameleon's mission in alignment with our vision.

With the logo bumper completed, we finalized our website, showreel, and pitch deck. This cohesive branding package enabled us to successfully acquire clients such as BMW, Flaregames, Daedalic, and VOK DAMS, effectively launching our collective into the industry.
